Independent dispatch: 10%
You already have the authority to run your carrier. TOAD provides the dispatch support: finding suitable loads, negotiating rates, coordinating the trip, and keeping documents organized. Your fee is 10% of total load revenue, with no TOAD carrier-program component.
Our goal is to earn a lasting place on your team through consistent service, clear communication, and attention to your operation.
TOAD carrier program: 15% total
If you do not have active authority of your own, you can explore joining the TOAD carrier operation. For approved operators, the 15% total combines a 10% dispatch component and a 5% carrier-program component on the same total load revenue.
This is a carrier arrangement with TOAD, including the applicable qualification and operating requirements. The additional component is TOAD’s service charge, not a government MC registration fee.
How the fee works
For an illustrative $2,000 in total load revenue, independent dispatch is $200. The TOAD carrier program is $300 total: $200 for the dispatch component and $100 for the carrier-program component. These figures are before any referral reduction and do not represent driver pay or profit.
What your dispatch fee delivers
- A load plan built around your truck: equipment fit, availability, preferred lanes, and home time guide the search.
- Broker checks before booking: identity, authority status, contact details, and payment exposure are reviewed through our operating workflow.
- The full trip in view: loaded, empty, and repositioning miles are considered alongside timing and operating costs.
- Clear load approvals: load details and written terms go to the authorized carrier approver before a booking commitment.
- Support through delivery: pickup and delivery coordination, document collection, and detention or TONU follow-up when needed.
- A weekly review: results, missing paperwork, and open issues inform the next week’s plan.
We want the service to be the reason you stay. The free dispatch trial gives you a chance to experience that working relationship before choosing ongoing support.
