Freight paperwork support across the load
TOAD’s paperwork workflow helps keep the load’s documents and communication connected. The purpose is simple: make it easier to find what was agreed, what happened, and what still needs attention.
Before pickup
- Coordinate broker setup packets using current carrier information supplied through the agreed onboarding process.
- Review the written rate confirmation against the details approved by the carrier.
- Organize pickup references, appointments, contacts, and special instructions.
During the trip
Track appointment changes and collect the records needed for issues such as detention, truck ordered not used (TONU), or lumper charges. Requests should follow the applicable written load terms and include supporting timestamps, receipts, or other records.
Documentation helps support a request. It does not guarantee a broker or other party will approve or pay an additional charge.
After delivery
- Collect legible bill of lading and proof-of-delivery records.
- Organize relevant receipts and note missing information.
- Prepare the agreed document handoff to the carrier or its billing provider.
- Keep unresolved questions visible for follow-up.
Share only what is needed
The website’s introduction form is for basic contact and equipment information. Do not include Social Security numbers, bank details, identity documents, or full license images. Required onboarding records should use a separate secure process once agreed.
